It’s Ebony-Storm to strangers. You can call me Ebs.
Now we’re on first-name terms, here’s some stuff you might want to know about me:
I took my first job in editorial and digital marketing at the age of 19.
I started my freelance business five years ago, after a digital nomad trip inspired me to take the plunge.
Since then, I’ve worked with agencies, authors, journalists, major software brands, and a Y Combinator company.
I love to learn new things. In 2023, I took an introductory coding course, completed a dressmaking workshop, and studied my strengths.
I’m also an amateur artist. Art shop pending.
“I honestly don’t think I’ve ever worked with a writer before who is so meticulous and takes such incredible care – you genuinely make my job so much less stressful than it could be!”
— Jyoti Patel, Content Marketing Manager at Xero, and Author
Freelance writer with an editorial edge
Writing isn’t a single step; it’s a whole system.
If you have:
Gaps in your marketing team capabilities and processes that mean projects move slowly, or not at all.
Technical content that doesn’t meet people on a human level.
A team full of brilliant minds, but no one to extract that brilliance and turn it into content.
Technical content that misses the mark because it’s not accessible or engaging.
